Hi Iā€™m Dr. Rebecca,

Originally from Seacoast New Hampshire, my journey with chiropractic care began at the age of 12 when my mother found relief from debilitating back pain after the surgical birth of my youngest sister. Witnessing her relief, I sought chiropractic care for my own daily headaches and discovered a passion for the healing profession. Starting at the young age of 14, I worked at my chiropractor's office, nurturing connections with patients and guiding them toward optimal health.

After graduating from Exeter High School, I pursued a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at Temple University in Philadelphia, where I founded the university's first pre-chiropractic club. Following my undergraduate studies, I moved to Georgia to attend Life University College of Chiropractic, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a focus on pediatric and prenatal care. Recognized for my communication and relationship-building skills, I also received the Communication & Relationship Theory/Skills Award at graduation.

My passion in my practice has always been to care for young families and little ones, but fast forward to the birth of my son and my practice evolved further. As a mother whose journey into motherhood took unexpected turns, my passion for becoming an IBCLC was ignited by personal challenges. When my son was diagnosed with a rare genetic condition, Phenylketonuria (PKU), at just three weeks old, I was told breastfeeding might not be possible. Suddenly faced with uncertainty, I dove into the world of lactation, determined to make it work. Along the way, I encountered mastitis and struggled with my son's tongue and lip ties. It was the guidance and support of an IBCLC that became my lifeline during those trying times.

Now, I am dedicated to supporting families in Southern Maine through their feeding journeys, regardless of their choices. My own experiences have instilled in me a deep empathy and understanding, driving me to empower and assist families every step of the way. Whether it's breastfeeding, pumping, or bottle feeding, I'm here to provide compassionate support and guidance, ensuring every family feels confident and supported in nourishing their little ones.

Beyond my practice, I cherish time with my husband, our toddler son, and our pets. An avid lover of the ocean, you'll often find me at Fortunes Rocks. As a proud member of the Biddeford community, I frequent local coffee shops, yoga studios, and support small businesses whenever possible. Let's connect and work towards your optimal health together!
